New Blog for the CE Research Symposium in Berlin
"This blog aims to facilitate contributions to the debate and prepare participants for lively and informed discussions during the symposium. You will find blog articles on all five symposium sessions here, and all blog contributions are additionally open for comments.
The “Climate Engineering Research: Current State and Future Perspectives” symposium will provide a forum for researchers from a range of fields to discuss many critical issues related to climate engineering (CE). The debate to date has shown that although interdisciplinary scholars share a general understanding of what climate engineering could be, they differ on questions of feasibility, how to deal with uncertainties, practical governance solutions, assessment metrics, and perspectives on political and public reactions to CE research and deployment. Researchers from the German Research Foundation's (DFG) Scientific Priority Program on Climate Engineering (SPP1689) and beyond will discuss these questions in Berlin between the 7th and the 10th of July 2015."
