Grist: Could a giant umbrella made of tiny robots save us from climate chaos?

"We might be able to stop the Earth from overheating by shooting 16 trillion small robots into space to form a huge sunshade, says astronomer Roger Angel. A better idea would be to just stop burning fossil fuels. But since we’re not doing so well on that front, scientists are cooking up various geoengineering scenarios that they say could help us avoid the worst impacts of climate change."
