E4tech: Bioenergy and hydrogen & fuel cells identified as key areas for UK Government innovation support

"Investing in the deployment of early commercial gasification based plants, and building on the UK’s expertise in Miscanthus breeding and use, were identified as areas that the UK government should support. In hydrogen and fuel cells, bringing down the cost of both electrolysers and fuel cells through advanced manufacturing techniques and lower cost materials were identified as focus areas, to enable their widespread use in hydrogen production and transport."
