CfP: Multi-disciplinary Assessments of Radiation Management Geoengineering - AGU Session
Deadline: 03. August 2016
"Geoengineering (also known as climate engineering) is receiving increasing amounts of attention and may become an important part of the discussion about how society will address climate change. There are numerous proposed ideas that fall under the umbrella of Radiation Management Geoengineering (abbreviated geoengineering here), including idealized solar reduction, stratospheric aerosols, marine cloud brightening, surface albedo modification, and cirrus cloud thinning. In this session, we explore the latest discoveries in geoengineering research, as well as the broader context of geoengineering as a potential means of addressing climate change."
