"Papers are invited that describe and address the potential effectiveness and scientific and technical problems associated with geoengineering. Possible examples include the potential for enhancement of carbon sinks, modeling studies of the climatic impacts of proposed schemes for altering the absorption of solar radiation; studies of unintended environmental consequences; and evaluations of technological feasibility issues."
